The Artpulse team put together this great flyer for this year’s edition of the Senior and AP Art Exhibit:)
Nominations for outstanding art educators and supporters of visual art are due this Friday, April 26. If you have not already done so, please take a few moments to nominate a deserving candidate, or two, or three:)
The categories are as follows-
The event will take place on May 22 from 5-7:15 in the Catalina Room at Marina Village.
Now go type out those nomination forms!
The Southern area YAM exhibit recently concluded in Riverside, CA. SDCAEA had the largest turnout of students, families, and educators of any county!
Two students from San Diego county were selected as 1st place winners in their respective categories!
Daniel Orila from Vista Grande Elementary and Elli-Anna Hauser from Kumeyaay Elementary. Both students were instructed by Kathleen Kane-Murrell.
These two pieces will go on for another competition. One 1st place winner from each area in the state will be chosen by the CAEA State Board to be awarded Sargent Art’s top prize, a trip to New York City with a parent and their art teacher.
